My 2018 Memory Keeping

For about as far back as I can remember (2005; I can still picture the specific layout in my mind), I've been into scrapbooking and memory keeping.  Like most people, I started off the traditional way; 12x12 book, paper, scissors, stickers, glue, pictures and LOTS of time.  A few years ago, I came across a new way of scrapbooking called pocket scrapbooking.  What??  That's what I thought too.  It didn't take long before I was hooked on Project Life by Becky Higgins.

It's SO quick, easy and simple!  She has 3 different formats for using Project Life; physical, digital and the app.  For the physical format, there's four steps and you've got a beautiful album started!!
1)  Choose an album (I personally prefer the big 12x12 albums.  I have a beautiful purple one for 2014 which I didn't see on the website anymore, the black and white striped designer album for our wedding and the word heart designer album for 2018)
2)  Choose a core kit (Physically, I have the midnight edition core kit as well as the honey edition core kit which again, I didn't see on the website.  Each core kit comes with enough themed cards for a whole year of PL!)
3)  Pick up some pocket pages (I have 2 boxes of the big variety pack)
4)  Print your pictures and slide them into the pockets!  Maybe do some journaling here and there and voila!  Before you know it, your first page is done!

When I started my first PL album in 2014, I started as physical and fell in love with it.  In 2016, I started an album using the app but fell off the wagon with it.  Well, I am determined to make 2018 my year and stick with it all through out the year!  As of right now, I've got some catching up to do but once I've got my first few layouts complete, I'll take some pics and make another post!
